The inspired, infallible, and final authority for all faith and practice.
What We Believe:
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for faith, doctrine, and daily living. All Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
The Bible is the foundation upon which our doctrine, discipline, and Christian life are built. It is not subject to private interpretation or cultural revision. We do not add to it or take away from it. It is complete, eternal, and sufficient for salvation.
Key Scriptures:
• 2 Timothy 3:16–17 — “All scripture is given by inspiration of God…”
• 2 Peter 1:20–21 — “Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
• Psalm 119:89 — “Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”
One God. Fully revealed in Jesus Christ.
What We Believe:
We believe there is only one true and living God — eternal, indivisible, and all-powerful. This one God has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Ghost in regeneration. These are not three persons but distinct manifestations of the same God.
Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He is both fully God and fully man — the visible image of the invisible God. As the Father, He is Creator. As the Son, He is Redeemer. As the Holy Ghost, He is the Comforter dwelling in believers today.
This is the mystery of the Godhead, revealed in the person of Jesus Christ.
Key Scriptures:
• Deuteronomy 6:4 — “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.”
• Colossians 2:9 — “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
• Isaiah 9:6 — “His name shall be called… The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father.”
• 1 Timothy 3:16 — “God was manifest in the flesh…”
• John 14:9 — “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.”
The revealed and saving name of God in this dispensation is the Lord Jesus Christ.
What We Believe:
We believe that God’s name is not a mystery—He has revealed His name to His people throughout history. In the Old Testament, He was known by titles and covenant names such as El Shaddai, Jehovah-Jireh, and YHWH to express His character and relationship with His people. However, in this New Testament dispensation, the fullness of God is revealed in the Name of Jesus Christ.
We affirm that Jesus is the redemptive name of God. He is the visible image of the invisible God. Jesus is not a secondary person in a trinity but the embodiment of the Father and the fullness of the Godhead bodily. The Father is in the Son, and the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of the Son. All power in heaven and earth is vested in the name of Jesus.
The Apostles understood this and preached, taught, healed, and baptized in His name. This is why every baptism in the early Church was done in the name of Jesus — for the remission of sins.
Why the Name Matters:
• God’s name is central to worship, salvation, prayer, and identity.
• The authority of the Godhead rests in the name of Jesus.
• The “name” in Matthew 28:19 is singular and refers to Jesus.
• Jesus’ name is the only saving name in the New Covenant.
Key Scriptures:
• John 17:6 – “I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me…”
• John 5:43 – “I am come in my Father’s name…”
• Philippians 2:9–11 – “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him… that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…”
• Acts 4:12 – “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
• Matthew 28:19 – “…baptizing them in the name [singular] of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
• Acts 2:38 – “…be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ…”
Summary:
The name of God is not to be taken lightly, changed, or ignored. We are a Jesus Name church, proclaiming that salvation, power, and authority are found only in Him. His name is our banner, our refuge, and our hope.
The New Birth: Repentance, Water Baptism in Jesus’ Name, and the Infilling of the Holy Ghost.
What We Believe:
We believe that the biblical plan of salvation is revealed in Acts 2:38 and is confirmed throughout the New Testament. This plan, preached by the Apostle Peter on the Day of Pentecost, fulfills the command of Jesus Christ in John 3:5 — to be born of water and Spirit — and is the only way to enter the Kingdom of God.
This experience is not symbolic or optional. It is the New Birth that brings a person into the Body of Christ and prepares them for eternal life. It includes three essential components:
1. Repentance
Repentance is a heartfelt turning away from sin and a turning toward God. It is more than confession — it is a complete change of mind, direction, and heart.
(Luke 13:3; Acts 3:19; 2 Corinthians 7:10)
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…” – Acts 3:19
2. Water Baptism in Jesus’ Name
We believe baptism must be done by full immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. This is the only baptismal formula used by the Apostles and the early Church.
(Acts 2:38; Acts 8:16; Acts 10:48; Acts 19:5; Romans 6:3–4)
“…be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…” – Acts 2:38
We reject infant baptism and all baptisms not performed in the name of Jesus.
3. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost
We believe every believer must be filled with the Holy Ghost, as evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This is the same experience received on the Day of Pentecost and is available today.
(Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44–46; Acts 19:6)
“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” – John 3:5
Summary:
This is not a denominational formula — it is the Apostolic message of salvation. There is no other way into the Church. We boldly proclaim that Acts 2:38 is still God’s plan of salvation, and every soul must obey it to be born again.
Baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.
What We Believe:
We believe in baptism by full immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to the command of Scripture and the example of the Apostles. Water baptism is not symbolic; it is a spiritual act of obedience necessary for the remission of sins.
This is the only biblical baptismal formula. Every example of Christian baptism in the Book of Acts was administered in the name of Jesus — never in the titles “Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.” Those titles describe roles of the one true God, but the name that holds the saving power is Jesus.
Why Baptism in Jesus’ Name?
• It fulfills the command of Matthew 28:19
• It applies the blood of Jesus for the washing away of sin
• It identifies the believer with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection
• It is how we put on Christ and enter into covenant with Him
We also reject the practice of infant baptism, as infants cannot repent or believe. Only those who have reached the age of understanding should be baptized.
Key Scriptures:
• Acts 2:38 – “Be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…”
• Acts 10:48 – “And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.”
• Acts 19:5 – “They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.”
• Romans 6:3–4 – “Buried with him by baptism into death…”
• Galatians 3:27 – “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”
Summary:
Baptism in Jesus’ name is not an option — it is a command. We baptize “in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,” and believe this is the only biblical pattern for New Testament salvation.
The indwelling power of God, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues.
What We Believe:
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Ghost is essential for salvation and is a distinct experience following genuine repentance and water baptism. It is the Spirit of God indwelling the believer, giving them power to live a holy life and to walk in spiritual authority.
The initial physical evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance — just as it happened on the Day of Pentecost and throughout the Book of Acts.
This is the promise of the Father, poured out upon all flesh, and is available to every believer today who seeks God with a sincere heart.
Why It Matters:
• The Holy Ghost empowers believers to walk in victory over sin
• It is how we are sealed unto the day of redemption
• It brings spiritual gifts, direction, and a personal connection to God
• It is the Spirit of adoption, making us sons and daughters of God
• It is a requirement for entering the Kingdom (John 3:5)
Key Scriptures:
• Acts 2:4 – “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues…”
• Acts 10:44–46 – “…for they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.”
• Acts 19:6 – “…the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.”
• John 3:5 – “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit…”
• Romans 8:9 – “If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”
• Ephesians 1:13–14 – “…sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise…”
Summary:
The baptism of the Holy Ghost is not an emotional moment — it is a divine transformation. We preach and expect believers to receive the Holy Ghost the same way they did in the Book of Acts: with the evidence of speaking in tongues and the empowerment to live holy.
Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.
What We Believe:
We believe that holiness is God’s standard for every believer. It is not optional, cultural, or outdated — it is a command of God. Holiness involves a life set apart unto the Lord, both inwardly and outwardly, through conduct, appearance, attitude, and spiritual discipline.
Sanctification is the ongoing work of the Holy Ghost in a believer’s life. It begins at salvation and continues as we grow in grace and knowledge of the truth. We reject any theology that promotes grace without transformation or salvation without separation from the world.
We are called to be a peculiar people, not conformed to the patterns of this world but transformed by the renewing of our minds. This includes modesty in dress, purity in speech, separation from sinful lifestyles, and daily submission to the Word and Spirit of God.
Why It Matters:
• Holiness reflects God’s character and glory
• It is a sign of true conversion and obedience
• It protects the believer from compromise and deception
• It allows believers to see God more clearly and walk in spiritual authority
Key Scriptures:
• Hebrews 12:14 – “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
• 1 Peter 1:15–16 – “Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
• 2 Corinthians 6:17–18 – “Come out from among them, and be ye separate…”
• Romans 12:1–2 – “Be not conformed to this world…”
• 1 Thessalonians 4:7 – “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.”
Summary:
Holiness is not legalism — it is Lordship. A holy God requires a holy people. At Faith Walkers Church, we strive to live lives that honor the Lord in thought, word, deed, and appearance — reflecting the character of Christ in a world that desperately needs to see Him.
Sacred ordinances of remembrance, humility, and obedience.
What We Believe:
We believe in the regular observance of communion (The Lord’s Supper) and footwashing as New Testament ordinances established by Jesus Christ and practiced by the Apostles. These are not symbolic suggestions or religious traditions — they are sacred acts of obedience and worship that reflect the heart of true discipleship.
The Lord’s Supper: We observe the partaking of the bread and the cup in remembrance of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ. This act is to be done reverently, in faith, and with self-examination. Communion serves as a reminder of the suffering, death, and return of our Lord and our continual dependence upon His blood.
We affirm that unleavened bread and wine (or the biblical equivalent) are the appropriate elements, following the example of Christ and the early Church.
Key Scriptures:
• Matthew 26:26–29 – “This is my body… this is my blood…”
• 1 Corinthians 11:23–29 – “As often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he come.”
Footwashing: We also practice footwashing, following the direct command and example of Jesus. This ordinance demonstrates humility, servanthood, and spiritual cleansing. Jesus said we ought to wash one another’s feet — and in doing so, we embody His spirit of selfless love.
Key Scriptures:
• John 13:14–17 – “Ye also ought to wash one another’s feet… happy are ye if ye do them.”
• 1 Timothy 5:10 – The early church is shown practicing this ordinance.
Summary:
These sacred ordinances are not ritual. They are acts of love, remembrance, and humility, designed to keep the believer connected to the body and sacrifice of Christ. At Faith Walkers Church, we observe communion and footwashing with reverence, sincerity, and gratitude for the blood that still speaks.
The supernatural power of God active in the Church today
What We Believe:
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are still in operation today and are essential to the life and power of the Apostolic Church. These gifts are distributed by the Holy Ghost and are intended for the edification of the body, the advancement of the gospel, and the glorification of Jesus Christ.
We affirm the full operation of the nine gifts of the Spirit as outlined in 1st Corinthians 12, including tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, faith, healing, miracles, and discerning of spirits. These gifts should operate decently and in order, according to biblical instruction, and should always exalt Christ— not man.
We also believe in divine healing as a provision of the atonement of Jesus Christ. Healing is available to every believer through prayer, faith, and the laying on of hands. Jesus is still the Great Physician, and the Church is called to pray for the sick, expect miracles, and walk in faith.
We Practice:
• Laying hands on the sick and praying in faith
• Operating in the gifts of prophecy, tongues, and interpretation
• Ministering healing in Jesus' name, both physical and emotional
• Allowing the Holy Ghost to move freely during worship and altar ministry
• Teaching and training the body to steward the gifts responsibly and biblically
Key Scriptures:
• 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 – “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal...”
• Mark 16:17-18 – “These signs shall follow them that believe...”
• James 5:14-15 – “The prayer of faith shall save the sick...”
• Romans 12:6-8 – Instructions regarding the grace gifts in the Church
• Isaiah 53:5 – “With his stripes we are healed”
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we believe the Church is not just to be informed — it is to be empowered. We teach, activate, and expect the gists of the Spirit to flow as a sign that Jesus is alive and His Spirit is still working in and through His people today.
Jesus is coming again — in power, glory, and truth.
What We Believe:
We believe in the literal, personal, and imminent return of Jesus Christ to gather His Church. This event is commonly referred to as the Second Coming and includes the resurrection of the righteous dead and the translation (rapture) of the living saints.
The return of Christ is not a symbolic idea — it is a promised event, taught by Jesus, preached by the Apostles, and expected by the early Church. We believe this coming will usher in the Millennial Reign, the final judgment, and the eternal reward of the righteous.
The signs of His coming are already visible. As a church, we live in expectation and preparation for that day.
Key Elements of His Return:
• The dead in Christ shall rise first
• The living saints shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air
• Christ will return with His saints in power and glory
• His return marks a change in this present dispensation and the beginning of His millennial reign
Key Scriptures:
• 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 – “The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout…”
• Titus 2:13 – “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing…”
• Matthew 24:30–31 – “They shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven…”
• Revelation 1:7 – “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him…”
Summary:
Jesus is coming soon. We do not know the day or the hour, but we know the signs. At Faith Walkers Church, we preach the coming of the Lord not as fear, but as hope, urgency, and motivation to walk holy, win souls, and be ready at all times.
Every soul will stand before God.
What We Believe:
We believe in the final judgment — a time appointed by God when all humanity will stand before Him and give an account of their lives. This solemn and eternal event will determine the destiny of every soul.
The righteous — those who have been born again through obedience to Acts 2:38 and who have lived a holy life — will enter into eternal life. The unrighteous — those who rejected the gospel, lived in disobedience, or turned away from truth — will face eternal separation from God in the lake of fire, which is the second death.
This judgment is final. It will be carried out at the Great White Throne, where the books will be opened — including the Book of Life. Only those whose names are found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be saved.
Why It Matters:
• It affirms God’s justice
• It gives eternal perspective to our daily decisions
• It calls all people to repentance, righteousness, and accountability
Key Scriptures:
• Revelation 20:11–15 – “Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
• Matthew 25:31–46 – The judgment of the nations and eternal destinies declared
• Hebrews 9:27 – “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
• 2 Corinthians 5:10 – “We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ…”
Summary:
Final judgment is not just for “bad people” — it is for every person. At Faith Walkers Church, we preach this truth not to incite fear, but to call every soul to repentance, righteousness, and readiness for the day we all must stand before the Lord.
Salvation is secure in Christ — but not unconditional.
What We Believe:
We believe that salvation is a covenant relationship that must be maintained through faith, obedience, and holiness. While God is faithful and His saving power is eternal, a believer must continue in the faith to remain in right standing with God.
We reject the false doctrine of “once saved, always saved” (unconditional eternal security), which teaches that a person can never lose salvation regardless of how they live after conversion. This belief contradicts the warnings and teachings of Scripture, which clearly show that a person can fall away, be cast off, or have their name blotted out of the Book of Life.
The true security of the believer is found in abiding in Christ, walking in the Spirit, and obeying the Word of God.
We Believe:
• Salvation is a journey that begins in faith, continues in faith, and must end in faith.
• A believer can choose to walk away from God and be lost.
• Obedience, holiness, and repentance are required to remain saved.
• The same grace that saves also teaches us to live righteously and godly in this present world.
Key Scriptures:
• Colossians 1:23 – “If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled…”
• Hebrews 6:4–6 – “…if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance…”
• Revelation 3:5 – “I will not blot out his name out of the book of life…”
• 2 Peter 2:20–22 – “…the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.”
• John 15:6 – “If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch…”
• Matthew 24:13 – “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we believe salvation is more than a moment — it’s a life of ongoing surrender to Jesus Christ. The promises of God are sure, but they are for those who remain faithful. We do not preach fear, but we do preach faithfulness.
Honoring God’s covenant, identity, and moral order.
What We Believe:
We believe that marriage, gender, and sexuality are sacred institutions established by God from the beginning. These are not cultural constructs, but divine truths revealed in Scripture and designed to reflect God’s order, purpose, and glory.
Marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, created to mirror Christ’s love for the Church. Sexual intimacy is holy and reserved for marriage alone. Gender is not fluid or self-assigned — it is a biological and spiritual identity given by God at birth.
We stand firmly against all forms of sexual immorality, including fornication, adultery, homosexuality, pornography, abortion, and gender confusion. These sins violate God’s covenant and hinder the soul.
We also believe that believers should marry within the faith, and that children are a blessing — not a burden — to be welcomed and raised in holiness and truth.
Biblical Principles We Uphold:
• Marriage is one man and one woman for life
• Sexual purity before and within marriage is non-negotiable
• Gender is assigned by God, not chosen by man
• The body is a temple — not for fornication or self-gratification
• God is pro-life, and children are a heritage from the Lord
• Covenant marriages should be in the Lord — equally yoked with Spirit-filled believers
Key Scriptures:
• Genesis 2:24 – “They shall be one flesh.”
• Matthew 19:4–6 – “What God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
• Hebrews 13:4 – “Marriage is honourable… and the bed undefiled.”
• Romans 1:26–27 – Clear condemnation of same-sex relationships
• 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5 – “This is the will of God, even your sanctification…”
• Psalm 127:3 – “Children are an heritage of the LORD…”
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we unapologetically uphold God’s divine design for the family, the body, and covenant relationships. We do so not with hate or harshness, but with truth, love, and conviction, knowing that God’s order leads to freedom, blessing, and life eternal.
Establishing families rooted in holiness, truth, and generational discipleship.
What We Believe:
We believe that God has established a clear and divine blueprint for parenting and family leadership. Parents — not culture, government, or the school system — are the primary spiritual authority in their children’s lives. The Apostolic home is a sacred trust and the foundation of generational revival.
Children are not to be raised according to the trends of this world but according to the Word of God, the fear of the Lord, and the standard of holiness. God is seeking a godly seed (Malachi 2:15), and it is the duty of every father and mother to raise their children in truth, discipline, and love.
Parental Responsibilities (According to Scripture):
• Teach the Word daily
“And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…” – Deuteronomy 6:6–7
• Model holiness and faithfulness
Children must see godliness lived out — in dress, devotion, worship, language, and lifestyle.
• Discipline in righteousness
“He that spareth his rod hateth his son…” – Proverbs 13:24
Biblical correction develops character and keeps a child from destruction.
• Protect from worldly influence
Parents must guard their home from ungodly entertainment, social media, secular ideologies, and immoral friendships.
• Equip for spiritual service
Encourage children to engage in prayer, ministry, fasting, evangelism, and church service from a young age.
The Role of the Church in Support:
While the responsibility begins in the home, the church stands alongside families by:
• Offering biblical parenting classes and family seminars
• Reinforcing Apostolic values in youth ministries and Bible classes
• Providing pastoral counsel in times of family crisis or spiritual rebellion
• Mentoring young people into Apostolic identity and leadership
Key Scriptures:
• Psalm 127:3–4 – “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD…”
• Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go…”
• Malachi 2:15 – “That he might seek a godly seed…”
• Ephesians 6:4 – “…bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
• Psalm 78:4–6 – “…that the generation to come might know them…”
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we are committed to building Apostolic homes that will stand in holiness, power, and love. Parenting is not just about raising good citizens — it’s about raising godly disciples who will walk in truth and declare the works of the Lord to the next generation.
Maintaining holiness through confession, correction, and spiritual covering.
What We Believe:
We believe that the Church must uphold holiness and integrity by practicing biblical accountability. When sin, doctrinal error, or moral failure occurs, the goal is never condemnation — it is always restoration through repentance, correction, and submission to godly leadership.
Confession and restoration are not optional elements of the faith — they are a part of God’s process for healing and reconciliation. We believe that discipline in the church is an act of love, and that true restoration only comes through submission to the Word of God and the spiritual authority placed over the local assembly.
The pastor, as the God-ordained shepherd, is responsible for guiding the process of restoration with mercy, wisdom, and firmness. Church accountability is not about control — it’s about spiritual alignment.
The Process of Restoration:
1. Private Correction
Matthew 18:15 — Addressing sin privately with a spirit of grace and truth.
2. Pastoral Counsel & Written Direction
If unrepentant, a written plan is provided by the pastor outlining spiritual steps to healing.
3. Temporary Suspension
If needed, individuals may be temporarily removed from leadership or ministry roles to focus on restoration and recovery.
4. Removal from Fellowship (If Necessary)
For continued rebellion, false doctrine, or public scandal, removal may occur for the protection of the flock.
5. Restoration through Confession & Submission
James 5:16 — Confession, obedience, and mentorship lead to restoration and renewed fellowship.
The Pastor’s Biblical Role:
• Protect the flock from sin, scandal, and doctrinal confusion
• Counsel, correct, and restore in love and truth
• Uphold holiness standards while maintaining confidentiality
• Equip the body to walk in unity and discipline (Hebrews 13:17)
Key Scriptures:
• Matthew 18:15–17 – Steps for correction and reconciliation
• Galatians 6:1 – “Restore such an one in the spirit of meekness…”
• James 5:16 – “Confess your faults one to another…”
• 1 Corinthians 5:11–13 – Correction in the church body
• 2 Thessalonians 3:14–15 – “Admonish him as a brother…”
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we believe that correction without restoration is cruelty — and restoration without accountability is compromise. We are committed to walking in truth and love, maintaining a holy standard, and making room for grace, healing, and new beginnings through biblical accountability.
Honoring God with our substance through tithes, offerings, and financial integrity.
What We Believe:
We believe that giving is a form of worship and obedience to God. It reflects our gratitude, supports the work of the Kingdom, and demonstrates our trust in God’s provision. The Bible teaches that both tithes (10% of one’s increase) and freewill offerings are God’s ordained method for funding the Church and caring for His house.
We reject unscriptural fundraising practices such as begging, shows, or gimmicks. We believe that if God’s people obey His Word, there will be more than enough to meet the needs of the ministry. God’s plan has always been for His people to give cheerfully, sacrificially, and faithfully.
Giving is not just a financial transaction — it is a spiritual discipline that blesses both the giver and the church.
What We Practice:
• Tithing – Giving 10% of our income to the Lord as holy unto Him
• Offerings – Giving above the tithe as led by the Spirit or moved by specific needs
• Sacrificial Giving – Special offerings or pledges during revivals, building projects, missions, or emergencies
• Integrity in Stewardship – Leadership is held accountable for the wise and ethical use of church funds
We Do Not Support:
• Begging for money during or outside services
• Street solicitation for church finances
• Entertainment-based fundraising events
• Financial manipulation or emotional pressure during giving time
Key Scriptures:
• Malachi 3:10 – “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse…”
• Genesis 14:20 – Abraham gave tithes unto Melchizedek
• 2 Corinthians 9:7 – “God loveth a cheerful giver.”
• Proverbs 3:9–10 – “Honour the Lord with thy substance…”
• 1 Corinthians 9:13–14 – They which preach the gospel should live of the gospel
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we give not out of obligation, but out of honor. We teach and practice biblical stewardship with transparency and purpose. Our giving fuels ministry, blesses lives, and brings glory to God — because where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Reflecting God’s character through modesty, distinction, and separation from the world.
What We Believe:
We believe that holiness should be visible in the life of every believer — not only in conduct, but in appearance and identity. As a people called to be set apart, our outward presentation should reflect the inward transformation that comes through the power of the Holy Ghost.
God’s Word teaches that modesty, simplicity, and gender distinction are vital parts of a consecrated life. Our clothing and appearance are not neutral; they either glorify God or they draw attention to the flesh. The way we dress communicates our values, our identity, and our understanding of what it means to be holy.
We Affirm:
• Modesty – Clothing should cover the body, avoid sensuality, and reflect godly humility
• Gender Distinction – Men and women should dress and carry themselves in ways that honor their God-given identity
• Simplicity – Saints should reject prideful or excessive fashion, jewelry, and cosmetics
• Separation from Worldliness – Believers should not conform to styles or trends that promote rebellion, vanity, or confusion
Key Scriptures:
• 1 Timothy 2:9–10 – “Adorn themselves in modest apparel…”
• 1 Peter 3:3–4 – “Whose adorning let it not be outward…”
• Deuteronomy 22:5 – “Neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment…”
• Romans 12:2 – “Be not conformed to this world…”
• 2 Corinthians 6:17 – “Come out from among them…”
What We Teach at Faith Walkers Church:
• Apostolic women should avoid revealing clothing, heavy makeup, form-fitting styles, and hairstyles that reflect worldliness
• Apostolic men should dress with dignity, masculinity, and humility, avoiding fashion that imitates carnal culture
• Clothing should always be chosen to reflect God’s glory, not to attract the attention of the flesh
• Holiness is not about legalism — it’s about lordship. We dress not to be saved, but because we are saved.
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we teach that how we present ourselves is part of our witness. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost, and our appearance should glorify God, affirm our God-given identity, and declare to the world: we are His.
Submitting to civil authority while upholding God’s higher law and peaceable calling.
What We Believe:
We believe that while we are citizens of earthly nations, our ultimate allegiance is to the Kingdom of God. As Apostolic believers, we are called to live peaceably under civil authority, honoring the laws of the land so long as they do not cause us to violate the Word of God.
Government is ordained by God to promote justice and order. As such, we respect our leaders, obey laws, pay taxes, and pray for those in authority. However, when man’s laws contradict God’s commandments, we obey God rather than man (Acts 5:29).
We also believe in nonviolence as a kingdom ethic. As followers of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, we are called to reject vengeance, armed conflict, and the taking of human life. We do not retaliate, bear arms in warfare, or engage in violence for any cause — political, personal, or religious.
What We Practice:
• Obedience to civil laws unless they violate Scripture
• Honor and prayer for elected officials
• Peaceable, law-abiding living
• Refusal to take part in violence, vengeance, or bloodshed
• Living as ambassadors of Christ in a foreign land
Key Scriptures:
• Romans 13:1–7 – “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers…”
• Acts 5:29 – “We ought to obey God rather than men.”
• Matthew 22:21 – “Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s…”
• Romans 12:18–19 – “Live peaceably with all men… avenge not yourselves.”
• Matthew 26:52 – “All they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”
• John 18:36 – “My kingdom is not of this world…”
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we are both submitted and separate. We honor the governments of this world, but we live by the higher laws of God’s Kingdom. As a people of peace, we choose submission over strife, holiness over rebellion, and righteousness over retaliation — because we are not just citizens of this world; we are ambassadors of another.
Honoring the value of every life while standing on the truth of God’s Word.
What We Believe:
We believe that every human being is created in the image of God and is therefore worthy of dignity, respect, and compassion. Regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, social status, or background, every soul matters to God — and every life has purpose.
As an interracial and Spirit-filled Apostolic church, we are committed to proclaiming the gospel to all people and upholding a culture of righteousness, justice, and unity within the body of Christ. We denounce all forms of racism, prejudice, and classism as sin and contrary to the heart of God.
However, our affirmation of human dignity does not mean affirming sinful behavior or ungodly ideologies. We believe in speaking truth with love — standing boldly against sin while extending the mercy of Christ to every soul.
Our Commitments:
• To recognize the God-given value of every life, including the unborn
• To build a church culture free from racism, favoritism, and partiality
• To reflect the multiethnic, Spirit-filled body of Christ
• To love mercy, do justly, and walk humbly with our God
• To stand for biblical truth, even when it conflicts with cultural trends
Key Scriptures:
• Genesis 1:27 – “God created man in His own image…”
• Acts 17:26 – “He hath made of one blood all nations of men…”
• Galatians 3:28 – “Ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”
• Micah 6:8 – “Do justly, love mercy, walk humbly…”
• James 2:1–9 – Warnings against favoritism and prejudice
Summary:
At Faith Walkers Church, we boldly declare that every soul is sacred, and every nation is welcome. We are preparing a people — from every tongue, tribe, and background — for the return of Jesus Christ. We don’t just celebrate diversity; we walk in biblical unity, proclaiming the name of Jesus with both truth and love.
Rooted in truth. Filled with power. Called to walk in holiness.
What We Believe:
Faith Walkers Church is an Apostolic, Oneness, Spirit-filled church, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ Himself as the Chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20). We do not follow trends — we follow truth. We don’t adapt the gospel to culture — we call culture to the gospel.
We are Jesus Name in baptism, Holy Ghost filled with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and committed to a life of holiness, both inward and outward. Our doctrine is the same as it was on the Day of Pentecost — and it is still the only saving message today.
We preach repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). We live by holiness, walk in power, pursue unity, and contend for the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3).
This is who we are:
• Apostolic in doctrine
• Pentecostal in experience
• Holiness-minded in lifestyle
• Kingdom-focused in mission
• Unashamedly Jesus-centered in all things
Summary:
We are not just a local church — we are a people on assignment.
We are not following man’s ideas — we are walking in God’s plan.
We are not looking for another message — we are preaching the original message.
We are Faith Walkers.
We are Apostolic.
And we will not be moved.
